17225 West Dodge Office Building

InfraStructure provided structural engineering design services for a 96,000 square foot four-story office building located on a highly visible corridor of West Dodge Road.  The steel-framed building contains three stories of Class A office space plus one half of the lower level dedicated to retail space and the other half to covered parking.  The architecture of the building is very modern, with extensive glazing, wide open views in nearly every direction, and efficient use of materials.  Structural challenges included the use of cantilevers on many faces of the building, and the incorporation of precast shear walls around the stairs and elevator shafts.
