N-11 over UPRR and US-30, Hall County, NE
Preliminary design, type/size/location, and data sheet development for a new three span viaduct and a three span pedestrian bridge in Wood River, NE. The pedestrian bridge will span over US-30 and Union Pacific Railroad tracks, replacing an at-grade crossing. The 450’ long pedestrian bridge will consist of single span prefabricated steel truss sections supported by cast-in-place concrete piers.
MOPAC Horse Trail Bridge Modifications, Sarpy County, NE
Provided plans for removal of existing galvanized bar grate floor with treated timber floor planks for use by horses and pedestrians. The project included these modifications to two weathering steel thru-truss bridges for the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District. Other enhancements included additional timber boards added to the truss sides used as blinders and new guardrail at each abutment.
MidTown Study, Omaha, NE
The objective of this traffic study, performed for the City of Omaha and the group Destination Midtown, was to investigate several alternatives for reconstruction of Dodge St. from 70th Street to I-480. The alternatives studied included 5-lane, 6-lane, and 8-lane configurations for which InfraStructure provided the alternative concepts (and cost estimates) for the Memorial Park pedestrian bridge over Dodge St. and the Dodge St. bridge over Saddle Creek. There is some historical significance to the Memorial Park bridge, so saving the structure was a consideration.
Pedestrian Bridge Impact, Maple over 30th Street, Omaha, NE
Analysis of damaged pedestrian bridge to recommend temporary emergency repair and temporary/restricted use. Bridge structure sustained significant damage due to impact by vehicle driving under the bridge. Permanent repair required replacement of major bridge components which could not be scheduled for several months.
Madison Street Pedestrian Bridge, Lexington, NE
Specialty bridge design sub-consultant for final design of 195’-10” pedestrian bridge over five mainline Union Pacific Railroad tracks and U.S. Hwy. 30, in Lexington, Nebraska. Project involves incorporating a prefabricated steel truss bridge over the railroad corridor and 30% design of the two approximately 700’ long square helix approach ramps. Steel and concrete ramp alternate designs were provided in accordance with NDOR standards.
Aurora Arch Pedestrian Bridge, Aurora, NE
Final superstructure design for 100-foot, single span, post-tensioned, concrete filled steel tube, arched pedestrian/bikeway bridge with a composite, fiber reinforced plastic deck.

Pedestrian bridge over a railroad corridor near the City of Sutherland, Nebraska. Final gravity and lateral load analysis and design of the precast concrete square helix approach ramps. Precast connections were designed in cooperation with Concrete Industries, Lincoln, Nebraska.
